Refinery Data Base

DeWitt & Company maintains a detailed data base containing the principal characteristics of more than 800 petroleum refineries world-wide. This contains all of the data published on operating plants, revamps, expansions, inactive refineries and for those planned or under construction.

This data base is available for installation on a personal computer, together with software which allows rapid and flexible analysis of the information. It is possible to locate and display information on any specified plant in less than ten seconds.

From time to time, DeWitt prepares specialized access programs which permit calculation of production and quality; one such program manipulates the data to determine gasoline quality and production capability as affected by vapor pressure limits for any refinery, or group of refineries.
