Polymers

The Polymer Service focuses on the four major Thermoplastics: polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene and polystyrene. The Service includes a bi-weekly Newsletter issued every other Tuesday, a reasonable amount of free consulting time, and bi-annual books on each of the major thermoplastics. In even-numbered years, books are issued on Polyethylene and Polyvinyl Chloride. In odd-numbered years, books are on Polypropylene and Polystyrene. The books include a listing of all plants in the world by location, including their capacity and comments on the technology used. Also included is a five year forecast of international trade and production by country, and a discussion of current activities in each country where the polymer is produced. Regional and world summaries are also included.

The Newsletter covers current United States, Western European and Asia Pacific region pricing information and a discussion of the world market forces impacting on pricing strategies.
